Your Rights as a Consumer!!

In most states, steering is illegal. The law generally guarantees that you—not your insurance company—have the right to choose who fixes your vehicle. [1, 2, 3, 4]
If you choose an out-of-network or independent shop:
* Your insurer is still obligated to pay for the repairs, minus your deductible.
* The insurance company must still negotiate a fair price with the shop of your choice.
* If the shop charges higher labor rates than what the insurer deems "prevailing," you may have to cover the difference, but the insurer cannot outright refuse the estimate.

Insurance "steering" is when an insurance company pressures or misleads a claimant into using their "preferred" repair shop, often without disclosing that the customer has the legal right to choose their own Collision Repair Rights. Insurers do this to save money on cheaper parts and labor rates.

This Honda Pilot came in Tuesday (06/02) for a hail damage quote. The customer went ahead and chose us as her repair shop same day and left her vehicle with us for repairs!

We did the estimate and had it submitted that afternoon to her insurance company. ✅

Fast forward to today (06/08), we got the approval from insurance and we are going to have her wrapped up and ready to go home TOMORROW (06/09). 🤩

We have all tech’s hands on to get you in and out as fast as possible with the best quality work! ‼️
