While the John Deere's tend to get all the attention--and for good reason--we just wanted to take a moment to shed some light onto some of our other tractors outside the realm of John Deere.

1) Leader - The leader was manufactured for only a brief period in the 40s before the father/son company based out of Ohio went under. This 1949 model would have been among the last of the tractors built. A great little collectors piece of farming history.
2) Co-Op No. 3 - The Co-op No. 3 is a standard tread tractor with a 41HP engine that is set to pack a punch and get to work.
3) Minneapolis Moline BF Avery - BF Avery was a Louisville based company that made small operations tractors before selling out to the bigger Minneapolis Moline company back in the 50's. This tractor maintains both the Minneapolis Moline and BF Avery branding
4/5) Oliver 77 and 66 - These Olivers were a part of the Oliver Fleetline models made in the early 50s and have a distinct streamline look to them. The 66 has a slightly smaller frame and is powered by a 4-Cylinder Waukesha/Oliver engine opposed to the in-line 6 cylinder that powers the 77.

We all know BMW has got a cool M series but did you know that John Deere has one too? The John Deere model M came out in 1947 shortly after WWII as a replacement for some of Deere's older and smaller tractors like the H, L, and LA. What not everyone may know is that this little model came in three different styles: the standard "M", the tricycle version or "MT", and the crawler version or "MC". Its not every day that you can get all three styles in the same space. We have been fortunate enough to collect all three over the years and they are all for sale now either as individuals or all three for a discounted price! Which version is your favorite?

Been asked to post about these by multiple people...Its always fun when you can get your hands on some vintage farm equipment outside of your day to day tractors and we are fortunate enough to have two classic dump trucks. The first of the two is a Studebaker truck from the 50's and the second is a 1957 Chevy 6500. Both of these trucks are fully functional with smooth running engines, beautiful Interiors, and finished truck beds. At this time the '57 Chevy has been sold but the Studebaker is still available to any who are interested. As always let me know what you think and if you have any questions. Check out these and more at jimsrestoration.net

Take a look at this gorgeous R! The R was John Deere's first ever diesel tractor back in 1949 rocking a 6.8L two cylinder engine. This 1951 model was among the first of the restorations back in 2003 and holds the same shine and power that it did back in the 50's. For more information on how you can come to own this or any other in the collection visit our website at jimsrestoration.net
