🚨 Yesterday’s Recovery Job — A Little Mud, A Lot of Determination
Got a call from a young lady yesterday who found herself stuck deep in the mud. Not sure how she managed to get in there, but hey — it happens to the best of us out here in South Texas.

It was a little challenging getting her vehicle out, but with some patience, the right angles, and a bit of know‑how, we figured it out and got her safely back onto the pavement.

Seeing her relief and smile at the end made the whole job worth it.
Another safe recovery, another neighbor helped.

If you ever find yourself in a tough spot, I’m just one call away.

Don’t worry, I saw him flick the strap and slap the boxes and say that will hold. Everyone is safe.

You have to admire a rednecks work sometimes!

26 March 2026-This morning started earlier than expected. At 5:30 AM, I got a call from Victoria, a mother of four from San Juan. She and her kids were driving back home after visiting family in San Antonio when their 2007 Ford Explorer’s battery died on Hwy 281 between Falfurrias and Edinburg.
There they were — a mom and her four children — stranded in the dark, tired, worried, and unsure of what to do next.
The moment I heard her voice, I didn’t even think twice. I got out of bed, grabbed my keys, and hit the road. When a family is out there scared and alone, you show up. That’s just what you do.
And honestly, that’s the part of my job I love the most. It’s not just about turning a wrench or jumping a battery. It’s about being the person someone can count on when everything feels overwhelming. It’s about giving a little peace, a little comfort, and a reminder that there are people out here who care.
Helping Victoria and her kids this morning reminded me why I do what I do. Every call is a chance to make someone’s day safer, calmer, and a whole lot less stressful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve my community — especially in moments like these.
