McKay’s Studio was opened in 1940 by Pat and Nina McKay, it was a photo and frame shop at the time and also sold camera's and camera supplies. Pat and Nina had one son Patrick James McKay Jr. , who took over the business becoming a master photographer. married Jane Stahl and they had nine children who all worked a the McKay's Studio growing up, Pat lV, Mike, Leo, Joe, Victor, Denni

s, Danny, Gerald and Bernard. passed away Sept. 1st, 1997, after his death his wife Jane Stahl McKay and her son Pat McKay lV continued to run the business until they closed in 2001. On January 1st 2012 the building was bought by Leo McKay who retired from the Maysville Police Department after 22 1/2 years of service and reopened the business. The business currently features custom framing. All frames, mattes and glass are of the highest quality and hand cut and assembled at their studio in beautiful downtown Maysville. McKay’s also features work from local artists and photographers in the area. The address is 126 Market Street Maysville KY and the Hours are 10-6 Monday through Saturday or by appointment. In addition to the framing and arts, McKay also teaches a Carry and Conceal class once a month and has his Federal Firearms license and stocks a few carry and conceal items in his shop.

There will be a corporate communion mass Sunday, October 13th at 8 AM Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Following mass, members will meet at the KC Hall for a breakfast prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary. All members are encouraged to attend.
