Hi Friends, Family and Guests,
We are busy working to get Cool Pines ready to open on Friday May 3.
We arrived to find some damage to our Electronic Sign and one of our trees in Site 1 caused by unusually high winds about 3 weeks ago.
On a happier note, due to recent moisture, the trees look great and the grass is already turning green.
See you'all soon.

Happy Easter to all our friends and Family!

Unbelievable that it's time to head to the beautiful Sacramento Mountains for our 19th year! Cool Pines RV Park will open for the 2019 season in just two weeks. Most of our longtime friends and guests have confirmed that they will be returning again...only a couple of cancellations due to changing circumstances.

Just a 2019 "Happy New Year" to all our Facebook friends.
Hope this year is the best you've ever had and that it will include a stay at Cool Pines RV Park.

Here is a link to an aerial video made of our park on Labor Day 2018. Hope you enjoy it and share it with your friends.

So excited because our Park will open for the 2018 season in a couple of days...Friday, April 25, 2018! We look forward to welcoming back our long term guests who will be arriving this weekend.
Hope to make new friends this year too.
Don't forget to make reservations now for Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day, as our sites fill up quickly for these holiday 3-day weekends.
On a very sad note, one of former long-term guests passed away yesterday. I'd like to send out condolences and love to the family of Ann Young. She was a very talented artist and a lovely woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I have a beautiful puzzle that she and Frankie McGrady put together for me a few years ago framed and hanging in my house in Tucson. It will always be a reminder of Ann. Frankie and Ann were puzzle gurus!!

Almost two months into this year's RV season and we've been blessed with the return of so many of our dear friends. Still some more to come in the next few weeks. Also, new friends being made.
Missing those who can no longer come due to health and other reasons.

Yesterday a group of about 8 tom turkeys were strutting their stuff in the woods. All of them were puffed up and had their feathers spread. Really cool. Unfortunately, unable to get a picture. However, this morning, Mr. Tom visited our back yard to get a breakfast of spilled bird seed. Some good pics but he didn't "show us his stuff"

Our park has been open for a week and a half and we're so happy to be back in the beautiful Sacramento Mountains. Several of our seasonal guests have already arrived with more coming each day. A nice group from Holloman Air Force Base stayed a couple of days and a nice couple from southern California stopped by for an overnight. The Activity Room is ready for some serious card playing and Potlucks. How lucky are we!!!

Hi Past, Present and Future Guests!
Our RV park opened yesterday for the 2017 season. A special gift this morning...we woke up to about 2 inches of snow on the ground. Beautiful! Can't wait to see all our returning friends and meeting new people this year.

10/21/2016

Still getting a few reservation requests. Sorry, Cool Pines is closed until last weekend of April 2017.

10/09/2016

Well folks, today Cool Pines is closing for the 2016 RV season. We enjoyed visiting with all of our regular guests this year and getting to meet new people and make new friends.
Jed and I wish all of you good health and happiness for the next several months and look forward to seeing you in 2017.
Our park will re-open on Friday, April 28, 2017. It's never too early to make a reservation. To encourage all of you to stay longer, we are discounting our rates for May, September and October, so be sure and ask us about this.
The deer have been hanging around, knowing that "the park is all theirs" very soon.
Take care and please keep in touch!

"All quiet on the western front." Cool Pines RV Park is at its' best during mid and late September...fantastic weather, abundant wildlife, grass is green, elk are active!
The only thing missing are our wonderful guests! For a variety of reasons, most head out to their permanent homes right after Labor Day.
My wish is that maybe next year many of you can stay at least through the end of September and take advantage of the best time of year in the beautiful New Mexico Sacramento Mountains!

08/03/2016

Ok, so don't know why but for some reason our park is not showing up on Google searches when people are looking for RV Parks in the Cloudcroft NM area. We used to so what happened? I don't know. I do know that a lot of our online information is comingled with an RV park with the same name that is located in Pagosa Springs CO. We get phone calls and emails on a regular basis from people wanting to make reservations for that park. A picture of our park is linked with that Colorado park.
Very frustrating.
So, can you all do me a favor? Like, Share and Comment about our beautiful New Mexico park.
Facebook, Twitter, and Google us.
We have a new, updated web site that you can get by typing our domain name: coolpinesrvpark.com OR coolpinesrvparknm.com.
Review, post, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. We have spent 16 years promoting our park, constantly working to make it a beautiful place to stay.
But we need all of you to help us resolve this problem.
Jed and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
