The 21st. Annual Bellman Shootout did not disappoint. This was, by far, the smoothest one to date. We already have some great ideas for the 22nd.
Most of the follow up stories and pictures are centered around our racers, as they should be. We all know how much time, effort and money goes into winning a class at this event.
There are a lot of people that make doing this possible for me and the first one is Rich Stumpf. Not only is Rich a very good friend of mine, but he has been my right hand for 18 years straight at the Shootout. This year I asked Rich to take more of a front man position and he did it to perfection. Whether it was setting up, parking rigs, running registration of taking care of the scales and fuel sampling, he does it with integrity and a smile for everyone. Thank you Rich and thank you Kelli for letting your husband hang out with me. :)

Cannon Bellman ! What can i say. You are such a joy to have by my side. You put up with my craziness, you keep me grounded and you don't let my psycho side get the best of me. Whenever I start to get wound up, you make me smile and laugh. As a Dad, i feel very fortunate to have a close friendship with my son. I love you buddy !
Jason, Stephanie, Samuel, Bailey Peterson !!! You and your entire family are awesome. Thank you for the hard work, kindness, beautiful facility, world class track and most of all, thank you for your friendship.
Chris Riley - You have been around a long time and you keep providing the #1 platform for all snowmobile racing across North America. I truly appreciate your willingness to cover our event and always offering to help in any way you can. Your videos and photos from our weekend are awesome ! This year, between sleds, bikes and juniors, we had 295 entries. this does not include any of the buybacks (additional 94). I will continue to post updates as time allows.
