Adding Piedmont Drift to the rental program for those wanting to throw down on the OG Circuit. The car does extremely well for those willing to commit to full throttle on the entire course. There is a 1/2 day minimum and we will add a $100 delivery charge to Piedmont Drift events since we are not scheduled to be at all of them.

New pricing is on the poster. Any reservations before today still have old pricing locked in.

New Blog is up!

Figuring out what to bring for your first track day can be tricky. In the blog we cover what is most important to bring and talk about trailering versus driving your car to the track. What are some items you would recommend?

A practical first drift event packing list for new drivers covering tech, safety gear, tools, fluids, tires, fuel, and a backup plan.

We have all heard it: “I’m picking up a drift car. What should I do first?”

This blog helps shed some light on what you should do first and where to go from there. Some of us have built everything from mild street cars to wild competition builds, but even a simple starter drift car should follow a proper build order.

It does not matter if you have a large budget or are building the car a little at a time. Taking care of the right things first will help you get the most out of the car, avoid wasting money, and spend more time driving instead of fixing problems at the track.

So, what do you think the first upgrades should be?

Start with reliability, safety equipment, seat time, a bucket seat, differential, suspension, and smart upgrades before chasing horsepower in your first drift car.

It took me a long time to realize that spending a little more to replace or upgrade related parts while you’re already in there can save money and stress later. Every shortcut eventually came back to bite me. This blog explains that mindset and how proactive maintenance can make a car far more reliable.

Years of fixing drift cars taught me that replacing only the failed part and guessing at diagnostics usually costs more money, labor, and seat time later.

Gotta show Piedmont Drift some love. Piedmont Dragway was the very first track I drifted back in 2008 and this blog tells that story plus everything Piedmont has to offer. If you have not tried OG & Boss Circuit, then you are definitely missing out!

From early service-road layouts to the OG and Boss circuits, see how Piedmont Drift grew into TandemTown and helped build North Carolina drifting.

Since I first got into drifting in 2008, I've watched the sport grow from a small grassroots community into one that's producing an incredibly talented new generation of drivers. Landyn Dysart is part of that new generation that proves that hard work and determination can earn you a podium. In this week's blog we were able to catch up with Landyn to find out more about his drifting journey and where he wants to go from here.

Some drivers spend years chasing their first competition win. Landyn Dysart reached that milestone before finishing his first handful of real-world drift events. At just 15 years old, Landyn has already built a story that stands out in grassroots drifting. Before he ever climbed into a real drift ca...

What have we been working on? Tire Reviews, Chassis Reviews, and Driver Profiles. Creating a Driver Profile and making reviews generated Skid Marks which can be used as a gift card on website orders or on tire pre-orders. Our goal? Have a website that has honest drift reviews and information to help local drivers achieve their goals. We are constantly expanding the site and below is Nicholas Abbott of Nicholas Abbott Motorsports and his S13. We are working to make the drivers page a large snapshot of the driver, car, program, and sponsors to help expand the visibility of drivers. Want to be featured? Head to the site to submit yours today!

We may pick on Darin for having the slowest car on his team, but what he lacks in horsepower, he more than makes up for by supporting the drift community and helping it grow.

He's always willing to help others and is one of the reasons our grassroots drift community continues to thrive. We're proud to have him as a sponsored driver.

Happy Birthday, Darin! We hope you have an awesome day, and we'll see you at the track! 🎉
