We have all heard it: “I’m picking up a drift car. What should I do first?”
This blog helps shed some light on what you should do first and where to go from there. Some of us have built everything from mild street cars to wild competition builds, but even a simple starter drift car should follow a proper build order.
It does not matter if you have a large budget or are building the car a little at a time. Taking care of the right things first will help you get the most out of the car, avoid wasting money, and spend more time driving instead of fixing problems at the track.
So, what do you think the first upgrades should be?
Start with reliability, safety equipment, seat time, a bucket seat, differential, suspension, and smart upgrades before chasing horsepower in your first drift car.
