Victoria Wachholz is in her first year of service as District 5 representative on WFBF's Promotion and Engagement Committee.

Victoria and her family raise grass-fed organic beef, naturally raised pork and chicken, and eggs in Marquette County. She helps manage their on-farm store where they direct market all their farm-raised products. Victoria is passionate about agriculture and enjoys helping bridge the gap between producers and consumers by sharing her knowledge and making connections within the community.

September is Su***de Prevention Month, and American Farm Bureau Federation's Farm State of Mind® is launching a new five-part video series, Finding Hope Together: A Farm State of Mind® Insights Series.

New episodes will be released every Wednesday in September and will feature conversations with rural mental health advocates sharing real-world experiences, grassroots strategies and ways we can all help build stronger, healthier rural communities.

“AITC is a good fit for this season in life - no longer a YFA and limited available time as a mom who wants to stay involved in ag advocacy and my kids’ school. I had fun and can’t wait to do another activity with the kids - at home and at their schools.”

Yesterday the Collegiate Farm Bureau officers from UW-Platteville, UW-Madison and UW-River Falls visited the WFBF office for a day of learning, planning and networking. These student leaders are the 'cream of the crop' exemplifying passion, professionalism and a true commitment to the world of agriculture. We are proud to have them representing Wisconsin Farm Bureau!

We wish them the best of luck as they return to campus and start school next week. Be sure to give each Collegiate Farm Bureau page a 'like' to follow their journey throughout the year!

WFBF's Promotion and Engagement Committee hosted an Ask a Farmer booth during Wisconsin State Fair Foundation Sunday over the weekend!

Fair-goers were invited to "Ask a Farmer" questions about food and agriculture. Ask a Farmer promotes the opportunity for consumers to have authentic, in-person conversations with farmers to build consumer trust and confidence in American agriculture.
