This Rare custom bodied Cord L-29 is one of four 1930 L-29 Murphy Town car built, Only Long wheelbase to survive. The Murphy town car built four of that design-two with the extended 152.5" wheelbase (LWB), and two with the standard 137.5" wheelbase(SWB). One each had side mounts and one each had dual rear mounts which really made a long car look immense. "John Barrymore was considered by many to b

The stretched town car on a 152.5" wheelbase and dual spares hanging off the back must have been a "Great Profile" in and of itself."
