July 4th is TOMORROW, and it's (been) time to prepare pets for fireworks. 🐾🎆

A few tips to help keep pets safe and comfortable:

• Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are current.
• Create a quiet, secure space inside your home where pets can retreat.
• Close windows, curtains, and blinds to reduce noise and flashes.
• Turn on music, a television, or white noise to help mask sounds.
• Exercise dogs earlier in the day before fireworks begin.
• Never leave frightened pets outside unattended.
• Be proactive with any medications, calming supplements, or supplies your pet may need.
• Stay home with your pet(s) if they can endanger themselves.

Families throughout Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, and West Houston know that fireworks often start tonight, so a little preparation now can help make the holiday safer and less stressful for everyone. 💙🐶🐱

• Confirming access to your home, keys, and alarm details
• Leaving enough food, litter, and supplies for your time away
• Informing you emergency contact and/or nearby backup

Happy "Pi" Day!

The first "Pi" day.......

The modern celebration started in 1988 at the San Francisco Exploratorium, a science museum. The physicist Larry Shaw held a celebration where people marched around a circular shape, ate pie and discussed math (and "Pi/3.14").

It became an "official" holiday in 2009.

So, enjoy some pie/pi today!!
