2026 Winter Nationals Recap 🏁🔥
The 2026 Winter Nationals started with a statement.
Cameron White jumped out front early on night one and showed he was the car to beat. Just a few laps later, a racing incident shuffled him back to 24th with only 20 laps remaining — a long way to the front in a stacked field.
What happened next was nothing short of incredible.
Lap after lap, Cameron sliced through traffic with patience and precision. As the laps wound down, he methodically worked his way back into contention. With just two laps to go, he made the decisive move to retake the lead and completed an unforgettable comeback. When the checkered flag waved, White Motorsports was standing in Victory Lane.
He backed it up the following night with another dominant performance, capturing back-to-back wins.
Then Wednesday brought adversity.
A dead transponder in qualifying meant no recorded lap time, forcing a tail start in the B-Main. In the battle to transfer, Cameron was caught in a wreck that caused severe damage. The week could have ended there.
Instead, Cameron and his brother Gerald White Jr. worked through the night rebuilding the car. On limited sleep and pure determination, they rolled back out on day four ready to fight — and once again parked the No. 38 in Victory Lane for the third time in one week.
Speed. Resilience. Heart.
On the Young Lions side, Gerald White III entered the week as the youngest driver in a stacked field with limited Legend Car experience. The goal was to learn and earn respect — and he did exactly that.
Gerald brought home multiple Top 5 finishes in a 24-car field while completing all 125 laps over five days. In a division known for chaos, he needed only three bumpers all week — showing maturity, awareness, and respect for both his equipment and competitors.
The speed is real. The talent is undeniable. The future is bright.
White Motorsports didn’t just compete at the 2026 Winter Nationals… we made a statement. 💪🏆🔥
