Gutted. Unfortunately, we had to park our #15 UK Toyota Camry at the start of the race due to a mechanical failure.

With practice and qualifying both being canceled due to the rain, we never had the opportunity to get the car on track beforehand. Had we gotten either of those sessions in, we likely would’ve caught the issue and had a chance to get it fixed before the race. Just one of those unfortunate circumstances that comes with racing.

There’s been a lot of hype building over the past month leading up to this race, so I hate it for everyone involved and everyone who has supported the journey. We’re working with the team on something to make up for the race, so I’ll keep you all posted on that.

With that, a huge shoutout to Nitro Motorsports for everything throughout this whole process and for making the team feel like home.

Looking at the bright side, the car definitely turned some heads and got a lot of attention. I hope we can get University of Kentucky and the Pigman College of Engineering back on the car whenever we run next year!

Anyways, thank you to everyone who has supported our journey this year. Whether you’re just now tagging along or have been here since the beginning, I appreciate each and every one of you!

This sport can beat you down over and over again, but we’ll keep our heads up and keep fighting!

On to 2027!
