Hi, we are in Florida. We have a 2005 SLK 350 with the 722.9 Transmission. My wife was one her way to work pulled up at a set to a set of traffic lights went to pull off and suddenly wouldnt shift out of 1st gear, managed to get it home some 2 miles in first. The car jerks hard from park to drive and reverse. So i put my Bluetooth adapter on it with the Carly for Mercedes diagnostic app and it gave these faults Motor Control: ME - Motor/Engine Electronics (MB: 0014468340) Fault: There is a fault in control unit ''Transmission''. There is a fault in control unit 'Transmission'. Code: 001737 Transmission Control: ETC - Electronic transmission control (MB: 0335456632) Fault: Component N15/3 (ETC [EGS] control unit) is defective. Component N15/3 (ETC [EGS] control unit) is faulty. The fault can be ignored. / Fault: Not Relevant! Code: 00200A Fault: Not Relevant! Code: 002111 After leaving the vehicle on the driveway nose facing up for a few days, i got in it to move it and it shifted into gear smoothly also the check engine light had gone So i decided to do a transmission oil change hence removing the valve body in the procedure Without taking the valve body apart, Ive cleaned the solenoid screens, all solenoids measure a resistance of 5.2 ohms So without taking up too much of your time i was trying to find out your thoughts and if it it the TCU does your repair cover that etc In advance Thank you Regards Chris
