Tonight’s haul is a 1970 Camaro that’s been parked in a Lakewood backyard just a few blocks away since 2010. The owner got a DUI and parked it and never moved it again. He’s run into me a few times at the self car wash with different classics I’ve had and has been wanting me to come see it. Well I ended up buying it (though I always wanted a split bumper). He’s owned it since 2001 (around the same time I bought my 69 Chevelle). This is a 350/350 car, originally produced in the Van Nuys CA plant. 10 bolt one-legger rear end. Originally Cortez silver. Hopefully it will run and drive with minimal work! I think this is the first classic Camaro I’ve bought 🤯
