We’re heading to Talladega Raceway Park this weekend for the Maxxis Stars and Stripes Shootout! I’ll be racing the Jr1 class. I’ve never raced at Talladega before but look forward to the challenge of figuring it out!

Picture pretty much sums up our racing this past weekend at Pensacola Dirt Track. Had a few hour long rain delay after the first practice. Once the rain stopped and the track was clipped so we could then practice again the track was still very wet. Qualified good for once tho..
Jr1 started on the pole, got spun leading the race with 5 to go, = DNF

Jr2 started on the pole, kart did not want to turn due to floor pan digging into track = DNF

8-11 Pro We cut back the floorpan and made some adjustments, Started 2nd, kart was very hard to turn the wheel so we still lacked the speed needed to compete with the front runners. Kart abruptly spun around in the middle of the race due to floor pan digging in again and while caution come out for that I noticed it wasn’t wanting to turn bc I hard the pin in still 🤦‍♂️. Made it back to 2nd due to a wreck but overall just wasn’t our night at the track! On to the next one in 2 weeks!

Weekend Race Recap!
We made the long trip to Loris South Carolina this past weekend to run the Maxxis Kart Racing MaxxDaddy in Jr1. We struggled all day trying to make some speed and just couldn’t seem to ever get where we needed to be. After a wreck we were able to make it up to 2nd for some laps but just didn’t have the speed needed to be able to compete with the leader and front runners. Aunt Dana Leopard Toy made the trip and we were able to have a good time before the flight home Sunday!
