Headers being fitted, a bit snug and hot and cold side will have to be reworked some but they fit.

The headers are giving Gearhead a bit of a challenge. I wanted 2" primaries but that doesn't look possible with the room available. We are going to have to go to 1.875" or possibly 1. 75" to make them fit. New cold side pipes to connect to throttle bodies are being fabricated. Engine and new 6XDX transmission has been installed, new CF driveshaft is ordered as the 6XDX is 4"+ longer. Its coming together and hope it won't be much longer

Lots of progress being made on the road to a new top speed. These pics show top fuel hoops in heads, TKM degreeing the cam, tensioner for timing chain, aluminum rods, and the clearance work to allow the tie bars from Jonhson lifters to clear everything. Custom billet valve covers, anodized blue, tapped holes are for coil packs mounting, they are taller than stock for rocker clearance. Follow for more updates.

Billet valve covers were being machined today. Top of them are machined to hold the coil packs. They will be anodized blue.

Trading 6XD for a 6XDX next week up in NC. Difference is 6XD good for 1800 ft lbs of torque, 6XDX is good for 3000 plus

Closing out fog lamps to help with aero. 1 more layer of fiberglass and they r ready for paint. 275 here we come
