I remember the first time my dad taught me how to work on cars. We spent hours together in the garage, tinkering with engines and fixing mechanical issues. I was just a kid back then, but I felt like a grown-up as I stood by my dad's side, tools in hand, learning the ins and outs of car repair.
As the years went by, our garage sessions became a cherished tradition. We bonded over our shared love of cars, and I always looked forward to the weekends when we could spend hours together turning wrenches and solving problems.
Now, as an adult with a family of my own, I still work on cars with my dad whenever I get the chance. It's a way for us to stay connected and to relive those happy memories from my childhood.
So, on this Father's Day, I want to say thank you to my dad for all the time we've spent together in the garage, and for passing on your love of cars and knowledge of mechanics to me. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher or a better dad. Happy Father's Day!
