Us at PI Design specialize in frameless shower doors, mirrors, garage doors, and garage door openers, as well as window replacement and commercial entry systems! Bob Hughes, owner and founder of PI Design Glass and Mirror, started at Allied glass company in Lawrence, MA when he was 17 years old in 1969. This included shower doors, windows, store fronts, and aluminum fabrication. After 13 years Bob left Allied glass to work for Lawrence Plate Glass as head glass cutter for two years. Bob then moved to Demers Plate Glass in Lowell, MA where he was the head foreman for 5 years. In 1981 Bob started PI Design Glass and Mirror as a side job where he performed installs for other glass companies in the Methuen area. In 1989 left Demers Plate and Glass and focused solely on growing PI Design Glass and Mirror. In 2016 Dominic Luongo joined PI Design Glass and Mirror after working in restaurant for 22 years. Dominic has been learning the trade and completes all installs with Bob. PI Design Glass and Mirror specializes in frame-less shower doors, mirrors, replacement window panes, glass shelving, and garage doors. Most installs are completed in less than a day.
