That little tire light on your dashboard tends to show up this time of year for a reason.

As temperatures start to cool down, the air inside your tires contracts, which can cause your tire pressure to drop enough to trigger the TPMS light. It doesn't always mean you have a flat tire, but it does mean your tires need attention. Driving on underinflated tires can affect handling, tire wear, and fuel economy.
