Priority Care Medical Clinic Priority care is an after hours medical/urgent care clinic in Livingston,TN owned and operated by Dr. John R. Clough
(47)

Priority Care was established in 2007 by Dr. John Clough to provide quality care to the residents of the Upper Cumberland. Unique to the area, we provide open access care for both acute care in the Acute Care Clinic and primary care in the Primary Care Clinic. Services we have include: Well child exams, sports physicals, annual exams, treatment for injury or illness, immunizations, DOT physicals, Xray and lab services, in house pharmacy and minor in office surgeries, this listed only a few provided services. We also have several policies for our patients, some are new and some are ones we have had since established. Prescription request: Normally, we will prescribe enough medication to complete your treatment plan or until it is time for your next visit. If you require refills, please give our office 24 hours to process your request. Please monitor your medications carefully so you are able to give the 24 hour processing time. We will not refill any medication after hours or when the office is closed for other reasons. Please only contact the office during normal business hours to request medication refills. We will not refill routine medications prescribed by another provider. Please contact your regular doctor. Appointment Policy and requests: You do not need to schedule an appointment, in fact, we make sure we reserve time to see you for that sudden illness or injury that may occur. If you have multiple problems, or wish to see a particular provider we do recommend an appointment. We make every effort to schedule your appointment at a time that is convenient to you and in most cases will be able to see you the same day. Walkin policy: Walkin appointments will be taken 30 minutes prior to closing time and will be seen by the provider that is present. Scheduled appointments will be seen before walkins, emergency situations will be triaged and prioritized on a case by case basis. Financial policy: All copayments and deductibles are due at time of service. This is not only our policy, but also a requirement of your insurance company. Self pay patients are accepted and payment is expected in full at time of service. For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, debit or credit cards, checks and cash. New Patient policy: New patients are accepted in the ACUTE CARE CLINIC at any time, regardless of whether or not you have a regular doctor. Insurance restrictions apply. Of cancers that affect both men and women, colorectal (colon) cancer is the 2nd leading cancer killer in the US. But this one cancer you can PREVENT!! Screening helps find polyps (abnormal growths) in the colon or rectum BEFORE they turn into cancer.

Several tests are recommended to screen for colorectal cancer. If you are between 50 and 75, get screened using one or a combination of these tests:

1. Stool Test (FOBT)
2. Colonoscopy
3. Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
4. Virtual Colonoscopy
5. Cologuard

Talk you our office about which test is right for you111

Antibiotic resistance is one of the most serious public health problems in the United States and threatens to return us to the time when simple infections were often fatal. CDC works to improve antibiotic prescribing and use in human health care, and educate patients about the importance of appropriate use. When we optimize how we use and prescribe these drugs, we protect patients from harm and combat antibiotic resistance.
