It’s been an emotional weekend. Last weekend with the torrential rain, Dylan needed some love. So, on Saturday, Landon and I went and worked on his place of rest. Then, today, we made the journey to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Memorial Service. It was very emotional, but just what we needed. God has a way of working things out. It was 7 years ago tonight that we took Dylan to ACH for the very first time and today we officially ended his journey with them.

There are so many things I feel like I want to say, but I often can’t find the right words. Going out today to see my boy and finding his headstone set puts a whole new set of raw feelings out there. His passing has been final for 2 months and 1 day now, but seeing his headstone… it’s just different and hard! I think he would be proud of what his dad and I picked out for him… Dylan, dad and I love and miss you every single day!

Thank you to all of you who donated to help us with his service and his headstone! You all are a blessing to us!

I know that there is a difference in times on the viewing. The immediate family ( our parents and siblings) will have a private viewing at 10:30. I figure 1 hour will be an adequate amount of time for family. Everyone else is welcome to view Dylan anytime after 11:30. The funeral home wanted to ensure that we had plenty of time with him.

It is with heavy hearts that we have to say OUR WARRIOR is now at home in the arms of Jesus! His chains are gone and he has been set free! Dylan got to ring that golden bell in heaven that he never got to ring on this earth! Please continue to pray for us as we have to pick up the pieces of our shattered hearts! His journey is complete and he won the battle!
