I also, when budget allows, prefer using new and classic materials in combination with emerging technologies that play with the space they inhabit in subtle ways so that their appearance changes in different ways depending everything from the angle you view them or the time of day it is, to the settings you select if the object has electronic features. This play with light, color, and material also allows most of my designs to work well in both indoors and out.
