Had a really bad accident last Sunday. Haven't seen the bike yet but it hit me after my airbag deployed. Causing burst fractures on T10-T11. helmet and my airbag suit definitely saved my life and prevented me from becoming paralyzed. I want to thank everyone that has reached out to check on me, those that got all my stuff back to my house, and my wife for being persistent through the whole thing and being the rock I need right now. Current outlook is 3 months with a back brace, then 9 months for full recovery. Thanks to all the sponsors that have believed in me.

Round 2 race report. put my bike on a diet, removed close to 15lbs, and installed a 415 chain and sprocket kit. Really gave me the boost I needed to keep up on the straight aways.
First practice the bike felt easier to tip in and easier to rev. Had to rethink all my turn in, braking, and gearing choices.
SS500 race Saturday I finished 4th, hot on the heels of and .805 and put down a new personal best of 2:00.062. Was disappointed I didn't go sub 2 minute.
Sunday in the SS500 I vowed to do better. Put my head down and committed to some really late braking which played in my favor with my HC-1. Managed to finish 3rd and smash my PB with a 1:58.882.
The Ultra Lightweight Shootout didn't go as I hoped, my suspension settings are definitely not great for rear tire life and this new faster pace and I the rear was squirming the entire race. Still managed to finish 5th and take home $250 of prize money.
Working for better results at Round 3.
