06 Gsxr awakens after a very long slumber. New valve guides, cut seats, and faced valves. Head work perfromed by Engine Services in BraseltonGa. Lastly, all new case cover gaskets that were not installed by the last person to work on it years ago. Big thanks to Hippy with Racing Sport Services for letting me pick his brain. Headed up to the Tail of the Dragon again on Sunday and Monday. Supposed to rain all day on Sunday, strangely I'm looking forward to it, my good friend James Hayton and I would ride in the pouring rain, back when we were much younger, and hop from bar to bar soaking wet. Kinda the same thing but with no alcohol and a lot more curves.

Super busy the last week and a half. Kawasaki Vulcan, Honda Xr500s,Honda Shadow, Honda Cbr1000, and a very cool Honda Cb100. Everything from tires to chain and sprockets, with a clutch thrown in there and some electrical to finish them off. Thank you for choosing ECW.

Took yesterday off and went to Tail of The Dragon for some early morning laps, then Dylan Harris showed up, and all hell broke loose. Got to see Istvan Istvan Paulik while I was up there too. Overall, a killer trip, no crashes, broken parts, or chicken strips!

2004 Honda Hornet all buttoned up and ready for the summer. Rebuilt the carbs and brake system, flushed the tank, and installed a new fuel tap, full service, tires, and a battery. Then I got started this 2006 Gsxt1000 cylinder head that got new guides and had the valves and seat re-cut. Thank you for choosing ECW.

What a start to the summer riding season. 3 more finished and ready for summer fun. Triumph Sprint came in for a battery and some electrical gremlins, 99 Honda Valkyrie sat for a few years, fuel system fush, full service, and a fuel tap. Luckily, when the bike started, there were no carb issues, thanks to non ethanol fuel. Last is a 07 BMW G650 Xcounry that sat in a warehouse in Florida for 9 years. New fuel pump, battery, and a full service, including the brake system. Thank you for choosing ECW.

Another great day for a ride. Christian and I used our fathers day to get in a 340-mile ride up to the Cherahala Skyway and back. Lots of sweapers with a few tight sections thrown in for a good time. Happy Fathers Day to all, and Ride safe. Me on the 2000 Sv650 and Christian on his 675rr.
