OLE YELLER.
Dad started dreaming of this car when he got out of the army in 1953. Bought a 32 4dr for $25 and only used the chassis and grill. Hauled the rest to the junk. It even had an original Ford 32 radio! He traded his uncle a 29 Chevy sedan for a 30 A coupe. Hauled it to the junk except for the body which he cut the roof off. Had it running as a street car in 1955. In 56 he changed it to a Drag car and installed a healthier flatty. It's this engine that's in the blue roadster. In 58 pulled the flatty and installed an Oldsmobile. Ran the car in to the early 60's. Changed to dragsters.

1934 Phaeton we put together in the early 80's. Don't get mad but it's a Gibbons glass body. We where a dealer for them. Hood, Grill, Inner fender panels, Frame, Dash, etc was real ford. The blower we found in an aluminum pile at the junk yard. Didn't know what it was but looked to be the right size for a flathead. Later found out it was off a Detroit diesel. Modified a 3 carb intake for a manifold and Dad made the blower drive. Carbs where off a Y block boat manifold we had (same as 54 corvette). Dash was a 33 with original accessory oil check gauge and dual temp gauge. Ash tray radio head was connected to a modern radio. Cigar lighter was the horn button. had a 42-50 PU trans and 8" ford rear end. Some one told us about using the front springs shackles and frame brackets off a F1-F100. They said it was almost a bolt on. They where right. There was at least 1 hole front and rear that aligned with the holes in the brackets. Just drilled the other holes and bolted them on.
We sold this car about 1990. It circled the western states with 4 different owners and every one of them called to tell us how much they enjoyed it. I think its now in Minnesota.

First car dad and I put together in 1976-77. 1st Photo takin this year. 1st car I did major work on. I put whole chassis together. Had early 32 rear end. Like model A. Got car all done. Fired it up. Put in reverse to back out of garage and it went forward. I'd put ring gear on wrong side of pinion. Had 3 reverse gears and 1 forward๐Ÿ˜.
