Just wanted to say a humble and sincere THANK YOU 🙏 to everyone who has reached out to me, gave me encouraging comments and/or advice. I REALLY appreciate it. When I was laying in the hospital unable to move or talk and just trying to breathe was the only thing to worry about.....it was amazing to have my wife read comments and txt from everyone. There are a lot of good, good humans in this world and I’m so blessed to have you in my life. From friends in our town feeding our kids, from my Offroad family, firefighting brothers and sisters and all my friends over the years....thank you and I love you all! Pain is pain but when you can’t breathe it’s an entirely different element. I knew on the way to the hospital what was going on.....pneumothorax and hemothorax. I could breathe in but could not get anything out. I also knew I have had multiple friends die in motorcycle crashes from this same thing. The 20 min ride to the hospital felt like an eternity and I know if we had gotten there a few minutes later things might not be the same. I am home with my family and will improve every day....thank you 🙏❤️

Day 7 update. Got the 2nd chest tube and the epidural pulled out yesterday. Breathing is finally going ok. Hoping to get out of here today and head home!

Day 4 update. The doctor decided to plate a few ribs to help with movement and breathing. With that many broken ribs in a row he was still having a very hard time breathing. Surgery went good. Today they removed one of the smaller chest tubes and the lung is starting to come back .. slowly he’s breathing better, able to talk, and even took a tiny walk down the hall. Still a lot of pain and a long way to go but...... day by day.

Kellon has been moved from the ICU still has his chest tubes in and still getting fluid out of his lung. The 8 ribs that are broken are causing him a lot of pain making it hard to breath and even talk. Drs originally thought all the brakes were too close to the spine so probably can’t be plated but after today they might go in and try to plate some of them. No surgery needed on the clavicle or scapula. Spleen is still bleeding a little but should be fine. Last night he got an epidural and that helped a lot with the pain. I can’t believe the amount of texts and calls he and I have both received.. we feel so blessed to have your love and support. From the Offroad /motorcycle world to his fireman family and our small community back at home there is no way we will ever go without. We know any of you would do anything for him, me or our kids thank you so much. Time and patience will heal his body. @ Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center

This is Kellon’s Wife Milly. Just giving you all a little update cause everyone is messaging him on his birthday. We were racing at Mesquite motocross track yesterday and he thinks he high sided out of a turn and landed on his left side. He collapsed a lung, broke scapula, clavicle , 7 ribs and lacerated his spleen. He couldn’t breath and they have been draining fluid off of his lungs. We’re in St George in the ICU waiting for more instructions from the doctor. Not the best weekend for us but he’s tough and will get better thanks for all your love and concern he has good people in his life.. @ Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center

Merry Christmas!! Santa came a little late as I had to work and do a mandatory shift BUT grateful to be working, grateful for our families health and even though it’s been a crazy year we have been blessed to spend a lot of fun time together as a family! 🙏🙏🙏
