Massachusetts will allow a customer to drive on their old registration if they are transferring plates for up to 7 days while the vehicle is being registered . So if you are an out of state dealer the customer does not need an intransit ( which you shouldn't be issuing anyway for mass ) all they need is their old reg and bill of sale and they are good to drive [ ]

: Last year New Jersey began implementing an additional EV fee for electric vehicles .
250 per year so if you are registering a retail cash deal the registration will be issued for 4 years so an additional $1000 is charged at the time of registration
If your doing a 36 month lease then it’s $750 because the reg will be issued for 3 years but if it’s a used car only a EV fee of $250 will be charged because the reg is only issued for 1 year .
Also Electric vehicles are no longer tax exempt in Jersey . 😊

: The sales tax rate for CT is 6.35% UNLESS the vehicle is over $50,000 then its considered a luxury vehicle and must be taxed at 7.75%

: If your NYS customer is not transferring a registration please make sure their insurance card does not REPLACEMENT VEHICLE . NY DMV will not accept it

: Penn dot will not register a vehicle to an driver if they have an out of state license. Unlike most states when registering a vehicle PA requires the front and bank of the PA license. Proof of residency is NOT accepted.

: Foreign Missions titles WILL NOT show up in NMVTIS . They are basically retired military/ Government vehicles and are considered private until sold. They will not appear in NMVTIS until a state title is issued. IF you get one of these traded into your dealership you MUST flip it into your name first before selling it .
