Details are the definition of a build. As they say, the last 10% takes 90% of the time. Lots of little things yapping on the old 57. Tear down process should start in a month or so.

When I built Winston I had many goals in mind. I wanted something that had enough power to scare me sometimes. Something that could crawl. Something that could rip the dunes. Something that could jump repeatedly. Something I’d be proud of to line up next to other custom cars. Something I could drive. Something different. In no way is it perfect but it does all the above very well. It’s a full tube chassis, Aluminum skins to create the body. Even the color is different from the norm. The engine is much different from the norm also being a 540CI big block. I wanted a machine that was very versatile and every time I use it, it surprises me. Needless to say, it has been worth every bit of the work and sacrifices.

Old girl is getting there. Buttoning up the rear fenders and it’s close to final tear down. The Howe Performance steering isn’t installed in this clip hence the toe change.
