Overcast skies on an August morning in Georgia is the best time to go Geocaching for sure.
Buckdog and his son got another step closer to completing his jasmer and a couple other caches as well.

Eric reached out to me and insisted that he get his crew out on the lake to find some caches on Lake Lanier.
I had him and his crew meet me and we went from there.
A hearty crew they are armed only with cell phones and water bottles they braved the heat and cut their way through the spider webs.
As we approached Pirates of Misty Cove they were down to their last bit of refreshing water and nursing mosquito bites from what can only be described as Amazonian size skeeters. They rallied back and pushed on.
Pirates of Misty Cove a puzzle cache put up a fight but this crew worked together and finished strong. 💪

Carol called and said Clementine was ready to get Marooned. So you know me I said let’s do it.
We met up and they braved the harsh conditions that a sunny 80* morning can dish out.
They made finding caches look easy while storming sandy beaches.
Battling a light breeze they persevered and came out triumphant with everything they were looking for.

A quick trip to western New York and boom we found a couple of geocaches. I introduced Zane into Geocaching and he seems to like it.
I must say the hike to The Spot is intense and definitely deserves a 5 5 rating
I am so excited to get these caches as I have been wanting to get them for a while.
Now let’s get Mingo

Memorial Day weekend and geocaching just seem to go together.
This hardy crew braved misting rain, cool temps and uphill walks second to none.
They pulled together and finished strong finding caches like pros and never once did they complain about the adverse conditions.
Hats off to all geocachers and I hope they have a great weekend.
