6 more pumpers to Boston. Strong work by Greenwood EV 💪

🚒 SIX NEW E-ONE CUSTOM PUMPERS FOR BOSTON FIRE! 🚒

Greenwood recently delivered SIX more E-ONE Custom Pumpers to the Boston Fire Department — Engines 3, 4, 7, 16, 41, and 53!

All 6 of these new engines for BFD were designed with our short 165” wheelbase and compact overall length of only 28’ 3” to fit in the tight city streets of Boston. The 6 new pumpers all were built on E-ONE’s Severe Duty Typhoon Cab, incorporating E-ONE’s extruded roll-cage design and rugged 3/16” aluminum construction.

Additional features include:

🔹 Galvanized, powder-coated, and painted frame rails for added corrosion protection

This week we're back with production updates for another new build starting progress with Latham Fire Department's new Cyclone stainless-steel body pumper as their cab has progressed through cab paint‼🔥

The body has begun taking form at the Hamburg, NY stainless-steel facility and this unit will come together in no time as they move their way through the construction and assembly process.
