This was me back in 1986… with the camera…obviously. About a year before my first scirocco. I remember calling Tony’s house where my good friend Ted Ehr lived as well in Carlsbad. Ted and I skated almost every day either at my ramp or Del Mar skate ranch or various other spots around Del Mar. this memory came up today on Facebook. This is an article from 86 I believe and this screen shot is from the bones brigade documentary released years ago. I was in a crunch to finish my first TV production project for school, and I hadn’t even started. But after listening to some Big Audio dynamite the idea hit me. So I called tony and asked if I could film him for a TV prod assignment and he said yes, “meet me at Del Mar, I’m doing a magazine shoot”… well. I got an A+ on the video but sadly it was lost by Torrey pines high school because the Beta master was reused as blank stock. I don’t know how you’ve done it for so long, sending peace and healing vibes out to the Superman you’re gonna be 70 doin mctwists!
