Putting in some new NGK race plugs. When we assembled we grabbed some OE replacement auto lites since that’s all we could find with 16 in stock. Prior to Raceweek we went to Wichita Dyno and Chris recommended NGK plugs. We could only
find 8. So we replaced 1/2. After last weekend @ XRP we pulled the plugs and decided to just order up a new set from NGK.

2023 - we have some work to do. A few weeks before Xmas we got the car out to XRP. Made a hit with a 6.42. It was great motivation to work a little harder to hopefully get a 6.3X time slip in the 1/4 mile. We took it home adjusted gearing in the 904 and expected better results yet. XRP on New Year’s Day Cars best was 6.46. down from where we thought we would be. Hoping to get back there in a few weeks to try again.

During Raceweek we took the opportunity to change gears before/after each session. We had road gears and race gears. What a pain in the ass that was. By the end of the week we could swap gears in 20 mins tops. The car originally had an A500 OD trans and we pulled it for the 904 to save weight. At Pro Trans Racing we are now developing a light weight OD trans that will make the next drag n drive much more efficient.

By the end of the weekend we pulled out a personal best 10.44. This pass in the video was our fav pass of the weekend as we outran the guy ahead of us in our class. We didn’t hit the podium this year. We just didn’t have enough knowledge about our car to know what it was gonna do. But we are preparing for next year to enter to small block NA class again and be in the 9s. The leader of that class how to bow out early due to baby on the way but he clock in at a 9.75 before he left. We wanna give him a run for his money!

At XRP in Ferris tx we took the car out for a shake down hit. We didn’t want our first lick at the track to be at 1st round in noble. The ET was not great. But the most important thing that happened was we got from A to B twice. No weird sounds, vibrations, or issues.

We for real need to update this page! Well, we completed 1320 race week going from noble, ok to Dallas to Tulsa to Tulsa back to noble for an epic 1,000 mile adventure with just what we brought in our trailer. Which thankfully wasn’t needed. The car had 2 1/8 mile passes on it and about 25 miles before we hit the road up to noble.

A lot has happened in a month 😁

First :: pistons ordered were wrong size 🤦‍♀️ we were able to talk to MMX and they shipped us out the correct size. So after a week or 2 of delay we were back in business.

Once again LETS GO BRANDON! Because parts are just hard to find. A lot of things we need ship dates are AFTER 2.0 😩 so we are constantly pressing on with plan B or C or D.

We are pretty much waiting on oil pan to get this motor buttoned up. We have the car life operational finally and are going to start dismantling the car and seeing how the 6.4 is gonna fit.

The fun part is now 99 days 👌🏼
