So it begins as the first boat of the season was launched this morning. Not officially ice out yet but warm enough weather and lake was clear enough to get from the slip to camp on Rattlesnake Island for this customer. Much more to get done for many boat's this early season. Don't be afraid of contacting sooner than you'd think for anything needed.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Doing some mechanical work & another shrink wrap in Windham. Sea Ray got a full transom bellows job, shift cable, and outdrive work with impeller and u-joints.

Winding down on outside work & focus on doing some work inside where it's warm.

Some more completed Monday before the storm and a few more afterwards. Cleaned off all the snow that fell. Added extra Moisture bags to help when warmer temperatures come and extra vents to allow better breathing.

Snuck in a ski boat also that needed a better way to run while out on the trailer. New thru hull fitting with a hose hook-up inside to allow better feeding capabilities for running the engine. Also changed the water strainer for a new one located further back from where it was before. That way the under seat storage box can go back where it was originally.

It's been a while since posting. Very busy still getting boat's serviced for the winter. I apologize for the one's that I have not gotten you yet. Hang in there as the holidays are coming and colder temperatures. Everything is winterized but need to do final checks and shrink wrapping.

More boat's out for the season & service's done to them for the winter. A few of them found some issues with checking thing's over from the season. Some drive work for the winter & more work scheduled for the spring.

From bottom washes to fluid changes and water system's to outdrive leaks. Everything can be handled to ensure your boat's are taken care of for a care free boating season for the following year. Tall frames ensure your boat sheds snow off of it so it's protected while shrunk wrapped.

More work to come in the coming weeks as the weather makes a turn from unusually warm this time of year to colder overnight temperatures. Reach out to be sure you have a spot in my schedule for service's.

Completed some more job's the past week. Diagnosing run issues on a Speedboat. Winterized a jet ski and pontoon boat. The owner reuses the shrink wrap from previous year's wrapping. Bottom washing so it's clean and not slimy from being in the lake and new trim pistons so the outdrive goes up and down properly. Winterized and tucked away in the garage for the season. Checked out and lake tested a pontoon boat this customer purchased. Repairs to be done in the spring before launching for next season. Winterized this wonderful Mariah and looked over some issues for some possible winter work. Then finished off with a winterize and shrink wrapping a jet ski. Have plenty more work to be done for the next couple months.

Been a bit since the last post. Fitting in some repairs for customer's trying to hold out on hauling out for season. A new high pressure fuel pump in this 60 hp Mercury. Winterized a few jet ski's. Crawled into a hole next to this Raptor engine in a Malibu ski boat to replace the oil pressure sender. A new mechanical fuel pump assembly and followed with a test drive. This Stingray got a full service (oil change, gear l**e change, engine winterized) & trim solenoids replacement so the drive works up and down properly for next season. Hauled out this Century and got it prepped for the winter, will return to shrink wrap it. Did some diagnosing to this Campion in Roberts Cove on a windy day. Then off to the Newfound area to do a full service on this great pontoon boat. After that was just shrink wrapping this sail boat and a gorgeous wooden boat (that's also for sale. Needs a few things to be perfect but it's in wonderful shape).

Lake levels are low and there's still a decent amount of weather. Be cautious if out still and contact me soon to get put on the schedule for services.

Even though the season is winding down there's still work being done. Some much needed maintenance part's to ensure this Searay to keep running even better. Then a trip out to an island by the customer's backup boat to figure out an overheating issue. Towed it & hauled out. Removed the lower unit to find a unique situation with an impeller that split & broke in 3 spots. It pumped a little at idle speeds but not high speeds causing an alarm. Inspected the cooling passages and back to the owner that was very appreciative with a quick and simple repair.

Replaced a starter on Saturday in Alton when this Wellcraft wouldn't start. Took off the old one and it was super rusty. Unfortunately it got wet and made it not work any longer. Then today started the time of year of putting everything away. Shrunk wrap the first boat of the season in Sanbornton. The boat got the full service too. Engine got greased, oil changed, fuel filter replacement, gear l**e change, winterized and of course wrapped up. 82* in the sun and shrink wrapping with the torch made for a hot day but got it done and the customer was happy. Many more to come now as like mentioned before the water levels are not where they usually are due to being so dry.
