Integrity Auto Services Since 2014, Integrity Auto Services in La Pine, OR has been dedicated to providing quality auto repair services from people you can trust.

For those of you that don’t know us - allow me to introduce you. Integrity Auto Services has been in business since January 2014, but has been my mission for over twenty years. Earlier in my career as a technician, I worked my way up the ranks in automotive repair as a lead technician in both dealership and independent shops. It was my purpose to use this knowledge to offer quality service and provide trustworthy direction to my customers. This method served me well over the years. However, I found that though I could do the best job possible, give my customers the best value, I can only fix so many cars in a day. I wanted to grow this mission and help even more people. I tried to do this while working other places, by taking on apprentices, helping build teams and systems to run them by. However, I kept running into a wall. What I found was, if everyone on the team didn’t share a common set of values, we couldn’t keep the business moving in the same direction. It was clear that if I wanted to realize my vision, I would need to start my own shop. Thus, the creation of Integrity Auto Services! This shop is my attempt to pour automotive skill, ethics, wisdom, experience, knowledge and business sense all into one pot and cook up a resource our community can rely on. What I love about Integrity Auto Services is, our customers can rest easy knowing we will treat them right and stand behind our work. Our name is “Integrity” for a reason. It is the standard by which we judge ourselves and binds use together as a team.

This Chrysler 300 rolled in with a loud clicking noise every time the owner turned the steering wheel. Lead Tech Lee got it up on the lift and found a completely torn CV boot that had let all the grease out and road grime in. We swapped out the worn CV axle assembly and got the smooth ride back on the road.

Most people think of refrigerant as cold stuff that makes cold air. It's not. Refrigerant is a messenger. It carries heat from inside your cabin to the outside world, and the whole system only works because every seal, every valve, every connection stays tight enough to keep that messenger moving in a loop.

Think of a screen door that only sticks in summer.

The heat swells the frame just enough that the latch won't catch, and suddenly the whole purpose of the door falls apart over a fraction of a millimeter. That's your AC. A tiny leak, a failing compressor clutch, a condenser fan that quit. The warm air isn't the problem, it's the announcement that a very small thing shifted just enough to break the cycle.

Your car was trying to tell you something before the cabin got hot. It just doesn't speak English. Bring it by and we'll translate.

Oh yeah that's super frustrating, and there are a few usual suspects here. The most common one is a parasitic drain, which basically means something in your car is staying on and slowly sipping power while it's parked. Could be a trunk light, a module that isn't going to sleep properly, even a phone charger left plugged in.

But also, batteries just wear out. If yours is more than about four years old it might just be tired and not holding a charge the way it used to. A quick battery test can tell us that in like two minutes.

The alternator is the other big one. If it's not charging the battery while you drive then you're basically running on whatever charge the battery had when you started the car and that won't last long.

Could also be short trips. If you're only driving five or ten minutes at a time the battery never fully recharges between starts.

We can test all of this pretty quickly and narrow it down before you end up stranded somewhere.

This Subaru Outback came in with a complex wiring issue that was causing intermittent electrical headaches. Jake tracked down the faulty circuit and repaired the harness properly, saving the owner from buying an expensive replacement harness.
