Rudy’s Quinones passion for cars began at his grandfather’s service station in El Paso, Texas in the 1970’s. Tinkering with cars in high school generated his passion for classic cars of the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s. After years of balancing school and a full-time job, Rudy obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. This opened a new career path that transitioned him from a Master Mechanic to Facility Engineer for UPS in San Antonio. Rudy’s love for the automotive environment persuaded him to find the entrepreneur side of himself as owner-operator of Kwik Kar L**e & Tune of San Antonio for ten years before purchasing Renown Auto Restoration in 2013. Getting back to the roots of his automotive passions has not only fulfilled his dreams, but those of every one of his customers.
Renown Auto Restoration provides a fantastic pathway for Tach-Tech3 team members to work with his dynamic team who share the passion for their customers’ projects! Renown’s team demonstrates leadership, efficiency, versatility, teamwork, accountability and has an uncompromising work ethic. They are working with Tach-Tech3 to secure qualified, trained, and professional technicians who are skilled and experienced.
Tach-Tech3 Foundation is proud to have them supporting our own passion and vision for preserving the craft and bringing Fayette County youth along for a career pathway that includes technical skills and business acumen.
