When it comes to off-roading Nissans, their Titan and Frontier come straight to mind thanks to short course racing. However, that legacy was established long before that in the deserts of Nevada and Mexico with the 720 pickup and the Hardbody D21. Paplapa Boy Racing makes sure everyone remembers tha...

I saw several of these new on the lot at Stewart Nissan in Fayetteville, NC back in 1985/86. They were pretty expensive at the time but the financing wars were in full swing back then. Still they sat a long time before being sold. I wish I had bought one now!

The 720 Bushmaster was Nissan's opening salvo in the battle for SUV supremacy.

So here is a question for all you 720 lovers out there. What are some things that you wish were still available for the 720 that have been discontinued over the years? There was never as much aftermarket support for the 720 as the Toyota trucks of the time, but our friends at 4X4parts.com do still support our trucks as best they can with body and suspension lift parts and a few other accessories. Gone are the days of Jim Conner Racing. But what is now gone that you'd still be interested in buying if it was still available?

For instance Doug Thorley headers, light bars, tubular bumpers, brush guards, skid plates, axle trusses, fender flares, and fiberglass fenders?

Dream big and post it here!

Happy New Year to all the 720 lovers out there. Let's hope its a good one. Im not entirely sure what is driving this but the page has been getting a lot of views even after I've, for the most part, abandoned it. But I may be shifting 720World to a retail sales outlet for used 720 parts this year. If I do ill be reopening the marketplace on ECWID. I also still have some 720 World parking signs, license plates and bumper stickers available as well, if anyone is still interested. But its likely that ill be moving the the activity feed off Facebook to a more freedom minded platform. Thanks for the interest and keep on trucking...

Well its 720 day and that also seems like a good day to wish the 720 pickup a happy 40th Anniversary! Woohoo!

720World.com will be shutting down at the end of 2020

Well all good things come, and they go, and it appears it's time to say goodbye!

Despite efforts to get new people engaged through Facebook, it appears that my decision to ask for a $5 a year membership fee really drove a lot of people away for good. But, nothing in life is free, unless you're in CHAZ. And as much as I'd like to have kept it free, we are really a very small group of people with a niche passion that not many advertisers either could or would support, so it was a choice to either ask for a fee, or simply shut it down... But not even a fee has keep the cash flow positive, or even level.

It appears that there are more than enough pages out there dedicated to the 720 now that no one will really miss this webpage much despite the fact that 720World has features that even Facebook doesn't. And we don't drown you in advertisements or other distractions... Thankfully Ratsun-dot-com will likely always be there for us, at least lets hope so.

For 720world.com, the cost to keep the domain up and website running has far exceeded income for many years, but I've kept it up and running basically for the love of the truck, and the people who love them. Costs keep rising, but membership has been falling.

For any lifetime members or members who have joined within the last year, if you would like a refund I'll be offering a partial refund or SWAG in lue of a refund until it runs out... Requests for refunds must include proof of purchase and must be made no later than September of 2020. I'll be taking on no new members for the remainder of this year.

It's been a good run, and a good time here with you all. I appreciate all the support many of you have given over the years. I'll hate to let all this useful information go, but I'll try to capture it on DVD if I can before it's shut down. You can reach me on Facebook, I'll keep the page there up for the immediate future.
