Love seeing more pickup photos rolling in.

Rodney picked his FluxJet up in Sacramento last week and is getting ready to hit the water soon.

Big thanks to Rodney for sharing the photos and for being part of the early community supporting this whole project.

Seeing these kayaks loaded up on vehicles and making their way into garages all over the country has honestly been pretty surreal for the team.

Can’t wait to see Rodney’s first on-water updates.

Full credit to Gary on this one.

Out on the Santa Barbara coast doing a 2 mile run, moving between fishing spots, and still finishing with battery left over running a 36V 50Ah setup.

This is exactly the kind of customer content we’ve been excited to see more of lately.

Real people getting out there, fishing, exploring, and sharing their actual experience with the kayak.

Pretty cool hearing Gary say “this thing is freaking awesome” while cruising the coastline.

Out on the Santa Barbara coast doing a 2 mile run, moving spot to spot all morning, and still finishing the trip with battery left over.

Gary mentioned he was running a 36V 50Ah battery setup for this trip.

This is the kind of content we’ve been excited to see more of lately. Real customers getting out there, fishing, exploring, and sharing their actual experience with the kayak.

Ocean runs, shallow rivers, lakes, grass, long-distance cruising… it’s been really cool seeing where people are taking these.

And honestly hearing Gary say “this thing is freaking awesome” mid-run says it all.

This is what it’s all about right here.

Mike out on the water catching fish, exploring areas he normally couldn’t easily access before, and just genuinely having a blast with the kayak.

One thing we’ve really appreciated is how simple Mike has kept his setup. Battery in, rods loaded, cart on the back, and he’s out fishing.

No crazy rigging. No overcomplicated setup.

Just a simple fishing kayak that’s ready to get on the water.

You can also spot the nav lights, 360 light, and the cart setup in this clip.

And the coolest part? Mike isn’t a sponsored YouTuber. He’s just a customer enjoying the kayak and sharing his experience.

Full credit to Mike.

Mike continuing to share more time out on the water with his setup.

You can tell he’s genuinely having a blast with this thing. Talking about the navigation lights, the cart setup, rod holders, shallow water access… just figuring out how he wants to rig everything for his trips.

Honestly, we’ve loved seeing all the content Mike’s been posting lately.

And it’s getting us even more excited to see more owners getting their kayaks and sharing their own setups and adventures soon.

One of the biggest questions people keep asking is about grass and long stringy vegetation.

Jason’s seen enough testing at this point to know there’s honestly not much that completely stops it.

That said, he also points out something important…

If you’re going through grass or heavy vegetation, don’t just hammer the throttle wide open. Ease into it and let the system work.

We’re not saying common sense goes out the window, but it’s been pretty interesting seeing how unfazed the system is in a lot of these conditions.

Jason explaining one of the biggest misconceptions people have about reverse.

Reverse on the FluxJet is there to help maneuver and back the kayak up. It’s not designed to work like brakes on a car.

He also explains why weight balance matters in reverse. Since it’s a bidirectional jet, the nozzle needs to stay underwater to properly pull water into the system.

One thing Jason keeps emphasizing in these videos is that steering control is your biggest tool on the water. Give yourself stopping distance, stay aware of your surroundings, and use the steering control instead of expecting instant stopping.

Really important information for new owners getting comfortable with the system.

New factory update from Jason is now live on YouTube.

This one covers:

production ramp-up
shipping damage challenges
packaging improvements
durability testing
pedal feedback
BerleyPro keel guards
and a lot more behind-the-scenes work happening right now

We’ve been sharing the ups and downs through this whole process because we think it’s important people see what building something like this actually looks like.

And honestly… finally seeing customer videos rolling in and kayaks getting out on the water has been really exciting for the whole team.

Full update is now live on our YouTube channel.

One of the biggest things Jason recommends for new owners is taking your time the first time you get on the water.

Wear your life jacket, start slow, and get familiar with how the kayak responds to steering and throttle input.

A calm area with open water is perfect for learning how the foot steering feels, how tight the turns are, and how the throttle responds.

You don’t need to hammer the throttle right away. Just ease into it and get comfortable with the movements.

Really simple advice, but important advice.

Jeff from Outdoor Gear Nerds spent real time on the water with the kayak and covered pretty much everything:

shallow water performance
weeds and grass
steering
stability
batteries
weight
reverse
pros and cons
what they liked
what they didn’t

One thing we respected is they actually went out and tested it before forming opinions.

A lot of people online have strong opinions without ever touching one.

We appreciate Jeff and the Outdoor Gear Nerds team taking the time to really put the kayak through its paces and talk honestly about the experience.

Before you hit the water, there are a few really important things Jason recommends checking every single time.

Battery connection.
Breaker position.
Power screen.
Kill switch key.
And making sure the throttle returns to neutral before startup.

One thing people might not realize is the kayak has a built-in throttle safety system.

If the throttle is pushed forward when you power the boat on, it will not arm the system until it sees neutral. That’s intentional.

Simple stuff, but important stuff.

Especially for new owners getting familiar with the system.
