The Belton Truck Restoration Project We are a page dedicated to following the restoration of the Hi-Rail Truck bought at auction from the Smoky Hill Railway.

Due to some unfortunate events, Belton Grandview & Kansas City Railroad had to auction off several items including their old "Built to Service" Hi-Rail M.O.W. Truck, out of interest for a project and to maintain history, Mathew Manis bought the truck at auction for 1,606$. We decided we should form a group to keep this piece of Belton history in service as a local M.O.W. Hi-Railer for any groups within the region of Knoxville Tennessee. Through this group we will be showing our path to a new future with this one of a kind truck.
