Unfortunately, the track took a pretty good beating from all the rain we’ve had recently, and we have decided not to open this weekend.

Unfortunately, we’ve got some tough news. We tried to hold out as long as possible and keep an eye on the weather, hoping things would turn around for this weekend, but the chances of rain just aren’t improving.

Because of that, we are going to have to postpone the Summer Shootout originally scheduled for May 23rd. The new date will be June 20th.

We’re still extremely excited about this event. We had a lot of great teams planning to travel in from all over, and we want to make sure everyone gets the chance to race under the best conditions possible.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you all on June 20th for the Summer Shootout at Ashway Speedway! 🏁

🏁 THANK YOU 🏁

From everyone at Ashway Speedway, we want to sincerely thank everyone who came out and raced with us yesterday for Race #2 of the East Tennessee Championship Series.

We saw a lot of familiar faces and also had the chance to welcome several first-time racers through the gates.

One thing that stood out yesterday was the support for the local racing that so many of us truly love. Racers and families choosing to support these local shows are what keep tracks like Ashway and others going strong.

We truly can’t say thank you enough. Every entry, every pit pass, and every family that comes through the gates means more than you know.

Thank you for choosing to spend your Saturday with us. We appreciate every one of you.

Round 2 of the East Tennessee Championship Series is HERE and the weather couldn’t be much better. Perfect day to load up the karts, grab the family, and head to the track for a night of racing!

Mike is already up and at it getting the track worked in and preparing it for another great night of racing. By the time everyone rolls through the gate, the surface will be ready to go. 👊💨
