It’s that time of year when everyone pulls their boat out of the lake, and let it sit for 2 weeks collecting rain, leaves, and dirt.

Why is that a bad idea? Aside from wasting hours cleaning it again, the battery could die in cold, and a wet boat will start to grow mildew/mold. Wet leaves leave stubborn stains and gross carpets for next season.

What to do? Winterize the engine and wrap your boat within a few days from haul out. Get all 3 stages done right away and over with. Don’t procrastinate and drag it out.
