At Cameron Race Cars, building the highest-quality new cars in the industry is what receives the most attention, but it’s only part of what we do.

Repair, updates, and performance upgrades on existing cars are an important part of our business, and something we take just as seriously.

One area we specialize in is converting rocker arm suspended dragsters to dual rear shocks. It’s a proven upgrade that can improve consistency, tunability, and overall performance on the track.

Bryan Bennett recently had us convert his 2020 Miller and he told us that the improvement was evident in both his driveshaft graph and time slips.

🔥 Build Update from Cameron Race Cars 🔥

Santa came a little early to the shop- Car #201 for Kyle Gibson is officially in the final assembly stages and it’s looking absolutely wicked.

This new Cameron dragster is packing an SDPC Raceshop 540 with a ProCharger, a Mark Williams floater, and is dripping in chrome and carbon fiber from front to back. Topped off with a killer Imagine That Customs paint job, this thing is every bit as fast as it is beautiful.

Huge thanks to Kyle for trusting us with this build. We’re excited to finish it up and send #201 into the New Year ready to make noise.

This set of components is headed off to chrome, while the chassis of the next Cameron Race Car is on its way to powder coat.

Cameron Race Cars Announces Completion of First Reintroduced Dragster

Cameron Race Cars is proud to announce the completion of its first dragster for Mike Crader, marking an important milestone in the company’s journey to deliver a modern evolution of its storied designs.

For over a decade, Cameron Race Cars produced cars recognized as being ahead of their time. Many of these vehicles continue to compete successfully today, a testament to their advanced engineering and unmatched quality.

Cameron Race Cars is committed to performance, uncompromising quality, and safety—building cars that stand the test of time.

Only a limited number of cars will be produced annually, each built to the highest standards with all-carbon construction and other premium features as the only options.

The next two dragsters, which are for Nathan Martin and Kyle Gibson, are scheduled for completion before the start of the 2026 race season.

🔥 Car #199 — The Rebirth Begins 🔥

The first new Cameron Race Car in over 20 years is officially in motion! Marked as #199, this build will be the first of the rebirth and it’s heading to a name that defines horsepower — Mike Crader of Crader Performance Engines.

This car will proudly house one of Crader’s all-new Signature Series engines, making it a true showcase of performance and craftsmanship from front to back.

The buzz is real — the first five cars in the new generation of Cameron builds are already spoken for, with #199 heading to powdercoat next week and final assembly shortly after.

Stay locked in… the return of Cameron Race Cars is no longer a rumor. It’s real. And it’s rolling.
