Jarhead Photography by Tim Rohman

Jarhead Photography by Tim Rohman Welcome to Jarhead Photography, the humble works of a retired Marine trying to adjust to life after I also enjoy the abundance of sports in the area.

My name is Tim Rohman, I am a retired Marine with 26 years of service in Marine Aviation. Now I am trying to learn everything I can about photography to satisfy a creative itch. I have a passion for automobiles and love attending the many local car shows and capturing the beauty and workmanship of the cars in attendance. I am trying to become better in the action sports field and attend all the ga

mes I can including, youth leagues, high school, and professional (My dream job would be to work for Sports Illustrated). Every now and then I try to get artsy and capture some of the beauty of God's creations, but it is difficult to truly do justice to the Master's work. I am currently a member of the Fort Worth Camera Club which has been a great source of learning for me, and exposure to many different fields of photography. I am open to all suggestions, constructive criticism, and challenges, please contact me if you have any. Thank you for visiting my site.

I want to thank Big Country BBQ and BJ McLeod Motorsports for inviting me to the NASCAR All-Star Weekend Texas Motor Speedway. I had a great time and everyone treated me like family. It was an amazing opportunity to try and capture some racing images.

I realize it might seem like I disappeared all together, and during some parts of last year it actually felt like that. Thank goodness it appears things might be picking up for this year. Goodguys Spring Lonestar Nationals happened this weekend. One year since they had to cancel the last show. In true fashion the car community was right on top of it. I will be posting more from the weekend show as soon as I dust the rust off of working images, much like remembering how to shoot cars. Can't wait for more shows.
