There’s another one of my unfinished projects. Bought this to go to Colorado with grandpa. Cut the frame off and did a Moto built back half kit. Still need to stretch the rear suspension back and figure out what I’m gonna do. Coil Springs, ORI, or Coil-over? Everything is expensive.

Long story, but here goes. The car had been sitting in a garage covered up for about 5 years ! My friend buys it for 4k Paint was trashed . After buying it he took it straight to a good painter that paints on the side for friends and family. They stripped it down painted it and replaced both front and rear bumpers. Replaced all lights too ! Spends $3800 on the paint job In this time frame the fuel pump goes out they replace it . New battery new plugs fresh oil change ! He takes it and has new magnaflow mufflers installed and a true duals run with an h pipe has the cats removed and a good street tune put in it ! He drove it home from this guys shop in Dallas hits something in the road which knocked a hole in the tr**ny pan and he drove it another 40 miles until he totally cooked the transmission. All it had was reverse. So he puts it inside his garage and tries to change the transmission pan and refill hoping it was fine but it wasn’t . Then he loses his job and gets depressed and gets a dwi and is close to being divorced by his sugar momma . He calls me and offers me the car with a bad transmission. I end buying the car and back it on my car hauler . I find a semi built used transmission with 87 k on it . Cost me $500 Change all the seals and slap it in. I drive it around a bit to find that the 3-4 trans solenoid is sticking so it has a small delay between gears . After some research I find that they can actually free up under continuous operation! Which it has gotten much better every time I drive it . I have to fix a leak at the trans dipstick tube and I’m changing the serpentine belt and all idler pulleys and belt tensioner! After that I put new wheels and tires on it! Bought it for the wife and now she doesn’t want it.

My son Zachary‘s car. He’s had it six years. Put it together and drove it for a year in high school.  About four years ago he did an aluminum 5.3 with Cam and high compression PRC heads. He put a viper internal 6-speed manual transmission in it. Everything is put together he just needs to run the wiring harness to the Holley computer. Probably two good Sundays to hear it run. It’s been 90% done for two years now.

Had this one about 13 years. Haven’t used it in five years. Needed some work dumped it  cheap. She is somebody else’s project now. I used to run it on black diesel. Good times.
