Fun project idea that you could do with your child. I was thrifting last weekend and I find there is always an abundance of plates, mis-match saucers and random figurines. Why not paint them, ModPodge them, dress them up and make them useful? This would also be a fun gift for the holidays!

A really interesting and inspiring find this past weekend at a flea market - two 1960s wallpaper sample books. I found these books on the floor, tucked behind a door. What a treasure! Turn an old brooch into a pendant. This was an estate sale find. I saw it and loved the deco look of it. I don't wear brooches, so I pulled the pin off with some small pliers and added some jump rings so I could hang it on a chain, and voila! A pretty necklace was born! Super easy and inexpensive.

In the past year, I decided to do a big picture collage above our couch in the family room. I went on a search for "cool" and unique frames. Some of them didn't have hanging tabs. Here's an idea I found online that I thought was a simple, smart way to reuse something to turn a table-top picture frame into something that could hang on a wall.
