Congratulations Houston Johnson Racing, we at Molle Auto Group are all very proud of your accomplishments!

What a wild ride this 2025 racing season has been! This past week at the USRA Nationals was full of ups and downs, but also one we’ll never forget.

On Wednesday night, we picked up a heat race win from 4th, only to get DQ’d in the tech barn for the left-side wheel base being .25 of an inch short. That would have put us starting in the back of the C-Main so we decided to get the car prepared for Thursday. Thursday night we started 8th in the heat and finished 4th. In the A-main, we slipped back to 22nd but fought our way back up to 13th.

Friday brought more progress—starting 4th in the heat, finishing 3rd, and locking into the A. We redrew a 13 and drove up to 6th. With the format taking our top two nights, we locked into the A Main for Saturday starting 12th and were able to finish 8th after falling back early on trying to pace ourselves in the 50 lap feature. Saturday afternoon the top 3 in National Points were pulled to the tech barn for further inspection - we passed with no issues.

Back in March, I set a goal: win the USRA National Championship in the Modifieds. Last night, that became official.
This season took countless hours, effort, and sacrifice, but the payoff has been worth it. We faced negativity, doubt, and challenges, but stayed focused on what mattered.
