Go green

Stock rebuild with green LEDs. Green is easy to match the rest of the dash parts if you're planning on going LED, color/intensity comes out very uniform.

Staying busy!

Both of these have white LEDs, but the look changes with the overlay.

Stock vs Escalade style. I keep these overlays in stock for 03-05 gas vehicles (not diesel specific).

Cleaning goes a long way!

I do my best to thoroughly clean every lens/face and display screens when repairing. Makes a big difference on these 2005 displays!

Clean up your fluxing work when you're done!

I only use no-clean flux from Amtech but I still try to clean it up. Even advertised "no-clean" flux can be corrosive to circuit boards over time.

And as always, a before/after.

*Most are repairable*

Even ones this bad can be repaired with a thorough rebuild, and some new jumpers. This is from a fairly low mile, highly optioned 3/4 ton Suburban.

H2 refresh/cleaning. Didn't end up replacing the lens as they're a couple hundred dollars currently.

Be careful removing them!

Turning ugly into something whenever I can!

'04 full size dash with no power. Rebuilt with white LEDs, add transmission temperature gauge, Escalade face and white needles.

Pieced together two instrument clusters for my '66 Impala. Repainted the needles, painted the housing gloss white, cleaned and added LEDs.

Silverado cluster bench test

We can fully bench test these 03-06 full size clusters to determine what you're seeing in the truck is real. Often times sending units fail and the gauge is blamed. By testing before we can determine if the problem is in fact the cluster and proceed if necessary.
