We want to give another warm welcome and happy holidays to Hannah Plumb, who is the Executive Director of the Flathead Youth Home.

The mission of Youth Homes is “to help every youth feel safe, have a sense of belonging and find a place to call home.” Their vision is “To provide an array of services to support children and families of Western Montana, regardless of their ability to pay.” They take great pride in doing this all while keeping sustainability and the social responsibility that comes with it in mind.

🎄 10 DAYS of Corwin Kalispell Christmas Magic - Day 9 with the Flathead School Snack Program

‼️ WHAT THEY DO ‼️
🔹 Provide in-school snacks: Offer two healthy snacks daily (like fruits, veggies, protein) to students who need them during school hours
🔹Serve Flathead Valley: Support over 500 students across various schools in the county.
🔹 Volunteer-driven: The entire organization is run by unpaid volunteers, ensuring most funds go directly to kids

🤝 Thank you Khrysta and Amanda and these adorable kids for accepting our check. And thank you to All of the Flathead School Program for your snack program! All parents can agree that this program is a lifesaver. Food is expensive, and this daily snack really does help these children think and perform throughout the day 🤝

🎄 10 DAYS of Corwin Kalispell Christmas Magic - Day 8 with the Columbia Falls Food Bank - also involved with the Montana Food Bank Network ♥️

‼️ Campaigning and Giving since 1983 ‼️ Every $1 donated helps provide at least 4 meals - possible through partnering with local and national food manufacturers and agriculturalist, making it possible to secure large amounts of food through generous, donations, grants, and wholesales.

‼️ How can we help? ‼️ check out their website - mfbn.org/get-involved/ - to make a donation, volunteering, become an advocate, and even regarding retail food rescue.
