Thank you to everyone who donated to the FOX26 Les Schwab Tires Toy Drive this year. Our stores were proud to help local families in need this holiday season by delivering hundreds of toys to the Poverello House and other organizations throughout the Central Valley.
The holidays are a wonderful time to give back to the communities where we live and work. We're grateful we were able to help 15 local families with toys, food, and much-needed household necessities through the Spokane Police Foundation Adopt-a-Family program.
As part of our annual Toy Drive, our Bakersfield stores had the pleasure of supporting the Jamison Children's Center and Kern Bridges Youth Homes. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we delivered hundreds of toys and clothing items to help local kids have a memorable holiday season.
The annual Les Schwab Toy Drive in partnership with CBS13 CBS Sacramento was another success. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, community partners, Sacramento Kings, and our stores, we were able to deliver over 7,500 toys to Volunteers of America who distributed bags of toys to children in need throughout Central California.
The holidays are a wonderful time to give back to the communities where we live and work. Thanks to the generosity of our Colorado customers and stores, we were able to deliver close to 6,000 toys to our local Toys for Tots branch.
We are incredibly proud to announce the success of the Les Schwab and Q13 FOX Toy Drive. With the help of our customers, western Washington stores, and Q13 FOX, we delivered roughly 32,000 brand new toys, bikes, and stuffed animals along with almost $35,000 in donations to local charities.
The first ever Les Schwab Tire Centers Toy Drive was a huge success! Employees from our stores, distribution center, and headquarters came together to sort and distribute over 3,400 toys. We can't wait for local non-profits to deliver these toys to children in need. Thank you to everyone who donated!
For this year's Les Schwab and United Way of South Central Idaho Week of Giving, we were able to generate over 30,000 pounds of food which will be distributed to 5,460 families across the Magic Valley, Mini-Cassia, and Wood River Valley through local food pantries. It's an honor to support these communities where we live and work.
As part of the Great Idaho Food Drive, our Treasure Valley Les Schwab managers helped donate over 33,000 pounds of food to families in need. This equates to about 27,000 meals! Thanks to community members, our partners at CBS 2 Boise , and Grocery Outlet, all of this food will be distributed through The Idaho Foodbank. It is always a privilege to give back to the community; we can't wait for next year.
To support the Fox 12 Les Schwab Tire Centers Toy Drive, the Portland Winterhawks hosted its' annual teddy bear toss and toy donation nights. During these games, fans donated over 3,000 toys and threw 14,787 stuffed animals onto the ice rink. We are grateful for the turnout and thank everyone for supporting children in need this holiday season.
Our Tri-Cities and Yakima Les Schwab Managers teamed up with Second Harvest for the annual Turkey Drive this year. Over 2,500 meal boxes were passed out; with the help of community volunteers at a series of drive-through distribution events. We take great joy in knowing these meals support local families in need!
To support the Fox 12 Les Schwab Tire Centers Toy Drive, Portland State Vikings fans threw nearly 400 teddy bears on the basketball court this past weekend. We can't wait for these stuffed animals to be delivered to children in need this holiday season.
For the past 18 years, our Southern Oregon Les Schwab stores partnered with Salvation Army Jackson County for the Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. This year, we donated over 200 turkeys to families in the Rogue Valley. It's been an honor to participate in this event!

This young lady continually goes above and beyond using the money she helps raise to buy toys for children at Doernbecher. It’s an absolute honor to name Emma as this month’s FOX 12 Oregon Les Schwab Tire Centers Surprise Squad recipient, with a truckload of toys to help with her cause. Thank you, Emma.
