This trailer belongs to Bonneville Power. We stripped this trailer down and took it across the road to get powder coated by Powder Coating of Kalispell. We are now in the process of re-wiring the trailer and installing new lights along with a new trailer jack.

Destin Fire just took delivery of a brand new, low profile Pierce Engine! This Engine will be housed at Station 19 on Calhoun Ave. Pierce Manufacturing Company Inc. built a great Engine and great job by Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC. equipping it with the best equipment around. Engine 19 will be put in service soon!

The Bureau of Land Management continues to make safety a #1 priority for ! A Rollover Protection System, or ROPS is being installed into the cab of the new Type 3 engines.

The cab will be equipped with side roll protection and PSV seats, and the roll cage maintains the cab structure in the event of a rollover crash. The vertical framework structure integrated into the body and subframe can withstand 6000 static load and will not deflect below the cab height in a crash.

This new engine will be heading to your Kern County Fire station in Rosamond, once it is ready to roll!

RollTek’s Side Roll Protection System is now exclusively available as an option in Pierce Manufacturing Company Inc.’s Freightliner commercial chassis.

Station 39 (Joy Lake Rd) will have a new apparatus soon. Members of our apparatus committee are in Wisconsin for final inspection and possession of this new Type I Fire Engine All Wheel Drive, first for our Fire District, built by Pierce Manufacturing Company Inc. Washoe County, Nevada 🚒🇺🇸
