Panic Pedals

Panic Pedals Custom handmade guitar pedals for the love of art and tone Panic Pedals was started in a garage and will forever stay in a garage. Their tone. But not us.

It all started with our love for boutique guitar pedals. This new generation of pedal builders focused on helping players find their sound. Most people were just happy to be blown away by what they heard. We wanted to take it apart and see how it worked. We tinkered. We prodded. We decided we would try to build one ourselves. So we built a clean boost pedal for an Orange AD30 amplifier. We plugged

it in... and we never looked back. From the clean boost came overdrives, then fuzzes, then reverbs, then tremolos, then more fuzzes, a couple of A/B boxes, and on and on. We're dedicated to making sure every pedal is unique. Even when we've tried to build the same pedal twice, we couldn't. Each pedal is truly one-of-a-kind. Each one is painted, soldered, and wired by hand. Therefore, every pedal is customized by definition. You pick the look. You pick the sound.

Due to inclement weather, we will NOT be on hand at Radio-Active today for Record Store Day. We are extremely disappointed we cannot be there. But our goal was to make sure we provided you with the opportunity to actually TRY our pedals and unfortunately, the rain simply will not allow for that. But we will work on having another event soon.

Interesting concept. It has drawn an interesting reaction from several pedal builders... "If you can't be fu***ng bothered to reach down and tweak your own gear to find a good sound, you shouldn't be playing music." - Devi Ever.

TONE PICK OF THE WEEK. King Buzzo. Need I say more? One of my personal favorites. Notice that Buzzo gets his heavy tone by using a bass overdrive on guitar. This is secret weapon for lots of guitar players. There are no rules when it comes to pedals. Try what doesn't make sense... it just might.
